A market leader in the telecommunication infrastructure space is expanding and looking for 2 Business Development Managers - based in Sydney. To be a suitable candidate, you will come from a Telco background with strong understanding in data networking; layer 1 - 3.

Clients in all verticals including banking & finance, corporate and government

Turnover more than $550million yearly

About the role:

You will be selling data networking products; fibre, Ethernet, racks, IP and routing

Typically you will target the NSW market across all verticals

80% new business and 20% account management

Average deal size will range $200k - multimillion

You will be selling to IT Managers, C-level and those who report into the CFO

You will be selling directly

Target $30K per quarter - run rate

About you:

You will come from a Telco background selling similar products

You must have a strong understanding of layer 1 - 3 data networking

Ability to build strong relationship and generate leads

You are personable, not aggressive or confrontational

Sales minded and focused

Identify business needs and ability to gain trust and respect

Able to secure deals, make business decisions and analysis the bigger picture
