Our client is a large organisation based in the southeastern suburbs. You will identify opportunities for improvement and coordinates stakeholders, you'll develop and implement appropriate procurement strategies to minimise costs as well as reviewing contracts and ensuring supplier performance meets agreed standards. You'll be looking to reduce the amount of supplier arrangements

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Extensive commercial experience with a substantial involvement in the procurement process and contracts

The ability to work indepenently under broad direction, as well as to work effectively as part of a team

Highly developed organisation and time management skills as well as being a strategic thinker

Strong communication and interpersonal skills as well as negotiation skills

A strong understanding of IT and procurement

Experience in establishing vendor KPI's and managing them
