Lead Software Engineer/Architect - C#/C++

Our client - a leader in its global field - is looking for a Lead Software Engineer/Architect to work on a variety of high-end R & D projects. You will be working across the full SDLC from architecture to design to coding and implementation. Furthermore, technical leadership of project teams of up to 5 Embedded and Software Engineers will be an integral part of this role. The successful candidate will have had exposure to cross-disciplinary environments: software, firmware/embedded, and hardware.

 

You will ideally have strong experience in the following:

 

• Very strong experience in a technical leadership and architecture role  
  


• Developed a number of system and software architectures  
  


• Led a team of Software Engineers  
  


• Experience with C/C++, C#.Net, WPF/WCF, & GUI development  
  


• Exposure to embedded systems  
  


• Agile/SCRUM methodology  
  


• Strong across the SDLC - particularly driving architecture and design - across large projects  
  


• Strong QA & coding practices

• Outstanding leadership skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders  
  


• Strong project estimation and planning skills  
  


• Passion for quality high-end systems and development  
  


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills  
  


• Outstanding problem-solving, conceptual thinking, and knowledge of software engineering
