Due to internal growth, my client is now looking to introduce into the team a Network Engineer with the skope to further move into a more senior Network Engineer position or 2IC role...  

This exciting and diverse position as a Network Engineer will offer you the opportunity to be included in Projects as well as being involved in the user facing and interaction solution side.  


 Some of the responsibilities of the role are as follows;  

• Senior Administration of internal & external LAN/WAN Systems.  
  


• Reviewing, scoping, developing & implementing new Network strategies.  
  


• Designing, Implementing, documenting & configuring Network equipment.  
  


• Provide pro-active management of all customers managed Network equipment, to ensure that the equipment is running efficiently & up to date.  
  


• Mentoring and guiding the more junior network employees within the team.  
  

  

To apply for this role you will be able to demonstrate the following;  

  

• Cisco Certification and have previously been worked within an ITIL environment.  
  


• Ideally having a solid understanding of BGP (Border Gateway Protocol) routing.  
  


• Hands on configuration experience of Cisco Switches, Routers and Firewalls and experience working with DNS.  
  


• Has previous experience with core IT services such as name resolution, messaging, anti-virus systems, proxies, etc.
