Program officer

We are currently working on a requirement for a Program officer for an initial 6 month contract in a large Government department.

Overview:

Our client is looking for a Program officer with at least 5 years experience to do:

 Secretariat Management

 Financial Management

 Project Management

Your specific duties would be:

Manage the detailed ICT Dependable Services Programme schedule.

Manage a comprehensive budget that consists of operational and capital expenditure ($12 Million).

Manage the ICT Governance Board secretariat.

Manage fortnightly project status reports.

Works closely with Project Manager(s) to provide trends, changes to costs, schedule, risks, etc.

Creates Program & Project Status Reports for final review by Chief Information Officer

To be considered for this role, you must be:

Competent using the following applications; Trim, Finance One, Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Microsoft Project.

Due to security clearance requirements for this role, candidates must be Australian Citizens who currently hold or are able to gain an Australian Government security clearance
