Senior C++ Engineer - (Quantitative Research) - Hedge Fund - Sydney

Greythorn are currently recruiting a Senior C++ Developer for a Global Hedge Fund based in Sydney.  

Working within a small but experienced development function (4), within the Quantitative Research Function your role will be to develop cutting edge real time algorithmic trading applications and assist in building and back testing complex systematic trading models. 

Working closely with the business and the Front Office Development team you be involved in the full software development lifecycle & strive to always deliver highly user-oriented application software.

Technically you will have experience of:  

 

• 6+ years developing complex C++ (Windows)  
  


• OOP  
  


• Experience of SQL Server  
  


• Strong communication & documentation skills  
  

  

Any experience of the following would be an advantage:   

 

• Matlab/ C#  
  


• A solid understanding of Financial Markets (Ideally FX, Equities or Futures)  
  


• Experience of developing high frequency/ low latency algorithmic solutions
