Our client is a leading Australian organisation with a strong reputation in the market. Our client is looking for a skilled Senior J2EE Developer to work on a range of enterprise web applications. Reporting to the Development Team Leader, you will be working across the full SDLC and dealing with a variety of technical and non-technical stakeholders.

This will be an opportunity to engage with the end users and show your leadership skills to guide and mentor other Developers across design, architecture, coding, and methodology. You will be hands-on with code but you will also be a mature Agile practitioner.

One role will be more front-end focused and the other role will be both front and back-end focused.



To be considered for the role you will need to be able to show strong experience with:

4-7 years+ in a Java/J2EE software development role

Experience with Documentum development (ideally XCP) will be highly regarded

Strong web development skills: Servlets, Struts, GWT, AJAX, DHTML, JSP, etc.

Strong Agile experience

Strong database skills - ideally with Oracle

Strong experience with design patterns & unit-testing

Apache, Tomcat, Weblogic, etc.

Excellent communication skills and a good sense-of-humour!

Tertiary qualified in Computer Science or a related discipline
