The major functions and responsibilities of your role: - Strategically maximizing revenue generation within large Commerce and Financial Services companies.
- You will be responsible for the Commerce and SAAS sector in the Southern Region, creating a business plan for success that includes marketing activities, pipeline development with the supporting telesales team and strategic selling (cold calling, prospect qualification, strategic sales process planning, exploring and closing all new business and revenue opportunities).
- Foster long term customer relationships by understanding customer needs and being a strong advocate within company
Ideally you will possess: * BA/BS Degree or equivalent experience
* 8+ years in system or software or solution sales within mid to large Enterprise accounts.
* Consistently exceeding quota of greater than $1.5 Million.
* Proven Track Record in over-achieving quarterly and annual quota.
* Must have high ethics, integrity, and humility and have a desire to work within a world-class sales and support organization.
* Must have strong knowledge of Internet and telecommunications concepts and demonstrate the ability to discuss them with intelligence and conviction.
* Experience in successfully executing complex sales cycles with CXOs.
* Formal sales training a must: Solution-Selling and/or Value Selling training preferred.
* Background in Internet infrastructure and/or enterprise solution software preferred.
* Vendor and or Reseller experience considered.
* Strong background in Web based applications a plus.
* Background in Application Acceleration technologies preferred.
* Understanding of IT architectures.
