Diversity and Equality at Greythorn

Greythorn is committed to diversity and equality, both internally and when recruiting for our clients.  In addition to our own strategies and initiatives listed below, we have also research the views of IT professionals and Hiring Managers to produce the Equality Report. Read more here.

1. Gender Diversity
At Greythorn we pride ourselves on ensuring both genders are represented at all levels. In fact, our statistics prove our commitment:

2. Age Balance
One in four employees at Greythorn is aged over 40.

Greythorn recognises that the experience mature aged employees can bring to an organisation greatly enhances our culture and our performance.

3. LGBTI Inclusion
Greythorn provide a safe and supportive working environment that supports all LGBTI (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and intersex) employees.

4. Supporting the individual needs of our employees
At Greythorn we understand that everyone has a life outside of work and that this may come with a need for flexible arrangements. We have a number of internal policies to encourage a flexible work environment tailored to the individual needs of our employees.

5. Unconscious Bias
At Greythorn we recognise the role that unconscious bias can play in our own recruitment as well as that of our clients. All of our leaders undertake a Leadership Development Program covering unconscious bias-awareness and identification and ways to address it to ensure that every one is given an equal opportunity regardless of age, gender, sexual preference etc. ; As part of their induction all newly hired employees also participate in specific EEO and Diversity training.

Greythorn has undertaken considerable research over the past 4 years on topics such as equality, discrimination and gender pay gap in IT. Greythorn partner with our clients to present the results to hiring managers and key decision makers to assist in the improvement and formulation of these initiatives and strategies.

Client Partnerships
Greythorn understands that businesses have differing needs and approaches to diversity and works closely with all our clients to support their recruitment objectives. We have partnered with clients to develop strategies for targeting a diverse candidate pool and achieving quotas they be aimed at both females in leadership and indigenous employees.
