Cloud Service Delivery manager

Role summary:

Seeking an experienced Cloud Service Delivery manager responsible for managing divisional business and Cloud operations and maintaining customer focused service delivery and drive continuous learning culture across Cloud Services.

Key accountabilities

  • Manage Cloud Services divisional operations and governance, planning, business process management and improvement. Work with Cloud Services leadership and the broader team to optimise, mitigate risk, issues, develop and implement success metrics to enable improved decision making.
  • Manage the operational budget and provide operational and financial reporting to the leadership.
  • Develop, establish and improve Cloud Services knowledge and engagement management frameworks, tools, channels and process to ensure accurate and timely information is available for utilisation by internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage and oversee the divisional resource pool management, business planning, negotiating pricing, rate quotes associated to people/skills sourcing, reporting to ensure regular visibility to Cloud Service leadership.
  • Engage with internal and external senior leadership and appropriate stakeholders to drive strategy planning, facilitate divisional business planning workshops, product delivery engagement sessions and leadership forums.
  • Develop business artefacts, documentation and communication and deliver on Steering Committee reports, Townhall presentations, governance artefacts, operational procedures and briefs.
  • Drive the seamless integration of Cloud Services divisional functions and operations to ensure continuous improvement.

Essential Requirements

  • Experience in highly complex and large technical Programs in a large and complex organisation, including relevant qualifications or equivalent.
  • Extensive experience operational planning, delivery, managing technical teams, reporting, issue and risk management with and exceptional understanding of a broad range of contemporary new ways of working, including various Agile methodologies and other practices that improve alignment, collaboration and value creation.

Selection Criteria (Explain in cover letter please)

  • Solid experience in designing and facilitating workshops, information sharing forums, presentation content and business artefacts to various audience types for the purposes of education, formal business reporting and briefings.
  • Extensive experience in leadership roles, with demonstrated ability strategy & business planning, mentoring, coach teams, implement culture and business improvement practices with established feedback loops.
  • Demonstrated experience in establishing and maintaining internal and customer focused communication, digital channels and frameworks that successfully supported positive customer interaction.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience working in a high volume and demanding professional environment with proven capacity to work in highly critical and complex delivery environments and their data sets.
  • Highly developed interpersonal, influencing and negotiation skills with extensive experience engaging, collaborating and influencing key stakeholders, establishing partnerships and driving strong customers focus culture.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to document and manage budget process to provide an effective, timely and compliant process which enables the division to meet its internal and external reporting requirements.
