Contract Role

Our client is a global IT business who is looking to bring an experienced Infrastructure Architect (VMware & Nutanix) to assist them with a massive datacenter migration project (greenfield project) for their banking client.

About this role -

• You will be responsible for high level planning, building and designing of the data center.
• Design and lead Proof of concepts and validating if this is correct or not
• Work towards a detailed migration strategy and associated tooling that is required to move workloads from the current Datacenter to the new one.

Key requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in managing server and storage infrastructure.
• Solid expertise in VMware technologies, including vSphere, vRealize, and NSX / Nutanix product knowledge or experience, with VCP/VCAP certification is a bonus.
• Must have worked on datacenter migration projects from beginning to end.
• Proven experience in build, design and architecture of new data centre builds
• Superior stakeholder engagement skills, with a proven ability to negotiate and influence
• Advanced level business, technical, or functional knowledge.
• Works on problems/projects of diverse complexity and scope.
• May act as a team or project leader providing direction to team activities and facilitates information validation and team decision-making process.
