Our client is seeking a Portfolio Change Manager for a 6-month day rate contract with likely extensions (to initially work remotely, yet to be able to eventually work onsite approximately 25kms east of the CBD). You will be responsible for driving effective change management across all Transformation projects and to ensure these changes are accepted. This will include working collaboratively with all Transformation project teams and a broad range of stakeholders to identify changes, strategies to mitigate possible project impacts, clear communications, and support the change management across the organisation.

As such we are seeking a Change Manager experienced in the following tasks:

  • Develop and implement change management strategies
  • Apply a structured methodology and lead change management activities across multiple disparate projects within a portfolio
  • Accountable for the change management and communications activities for a range of allocated projects, and providing updates on any acceptance issues
  • Conduct impact analyses, assess change readiness and identify key stakeholders.
  • Development of internal project change management practices, and coach project teams and business representatives in managing change
  • Support and engage with Senior Leaders and relevant subject matter experts
  • Define and measure success metrics and monitor change progress


As such you will have the following skills and experience:

  • Experience in relevant change management tools and methodologies, ideally Prosci certified
  • Experience in managing change across multiple concurrent and disparate projects within a portfolio (ranging in size, scope, complexity and at various stages in the project lifecycle)
  • Exceptional communication skills both oral and written, and able to produce companywide communications
  • Exceptional stakeholder management, collaboration and negotiation skill, at all levels in an organisation, with the ability to understand both the business and customer perspective
  • Expert change management skills, including the ability to develop business cases and guide business analysis activities.
  • Proven ability to drive significant change in a heavily process-driven and change-adverse environment
  • Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations
