Our esteemed client is a large consultancy firm, based in the heart of Canberra. With a value-driven approach that is unparalleled, they provide efficient and effective solutions to a range of Federal Government Agencies. They are rapidly expanding and as such; seeking a Procurement Lead to join their team on a permanent basis.

About the Opportunity

Offering a dynamic and pragmatic approach, you will support/deliver complex procurement activities to the end-client whilst leading an experienced team and growing the firm's Procurement capability.

You will apply your strategic procurement expertise, use commercial problem solving skills to present options for delivery/approach and develop/maintain strong working relationships.

About You

You are a highly proven procurement professional who possesses:

• Understanding of the Defence procurement environment and experience with large complex capability projects requiring multiple procurement/procurement strategy/commercial management
• Strong commercial acumen
• Demonstrated communication and team engagement skills
• Proactive and positive approach to learning opportunities
• Ability to work and communicate well within a team environment, working diplomatically and proactively with a diverse range of peers/senior staff
• Demonstrated experience and knowledge in ICT procurement or contract management
• Legal or Accounting background is advantageous

Please note, due to the nature of the work, a NV1 Security Clearance is essential.
