Seeking to engage a Program Coordinator to support government agency Systems Modernisation Program team.
About the role
Working within the Program Delivery section, the Program Coordinator will report directly to the Program Manager and work with senior executives and managers to create relevant briefings, papers and reports to successfully support the efficient execution of the Program.
- Research and prepare strategic advice, information and reports on diverse and complex strategic and operational matters to facilitate informed decision making and planning.
- Provide oversight to the Portfolio Director on the status of Program and Projects time lines and risk and issue management.
- Support the operation of governance forums, tracking actions arising as required.
The successful candidate will bring broad experience in creating documents from the beginning and working with stakeholders to obtain and insert relevant information. Strong written, verbal, communication and presentation skills are required to effectively communicate with stakeholders at the executive level. The ability to engage, establish and maintain stakeholder relationships is essential to ensure project deliverable are met.
The role will suit a high level APS6.
What's in it for you?
This is a contract role through to 31 December 2020 with extension options for up a further 18 months. We're expecting hourly rates to fall between $60 and $80 per hour. You will have the opportunity to work on a large complex program with a high profile government agency.
