The Company

CTI is an exciting scale-up working within biotechnology to improve the lives of its users both physically and mentally. You will have the opportunity to work with and learn from some amazing technically & medically skilled professionals. Based in East Melbourne however working remotely now.

The Project

The company is on a fast-upward trajectory and as they look to expand, they need to grow their internal development function. The initial product has been built by a third party and has now been brought in-house. For now, it's a highly functional mobile application however there is a lot of new features and web stuff in the pipeline.

The Team

There will be a lot of growth in the team over the next 12 months which will bring some very fast progression opportunities. With new hires there could potentially be options for leadership or mentor-ship for the right candidate. Currently a team of 12 with a mix of data scientists, developers, designers and more. 1x React Native Dev, 2x Data Scientist, 1 UX/UI Designer, 1 x Principle Engineer, CTO + some psychologists, neurosurgeons, researchers and a business strategist.

Tech Stack

• Mobile app uses React Native
• Experience with Java and Objective-C / Swift regarded
• Future web applications using react.js
• GraphQL
• Python (majority of back-end code is Python)
• Node.js
• AWS

You

Ideally you will have experience working with mobile applications and have a good eye for detail. You will be passionate about software and getting on board with a truly disruptive start-up. It's a small team so being a team player will go a long way here. To be successful you will have:

• 3+ years of software development experience
• Good knowledge of mobile apps and how they work
• Developed a React Native application
• Experience working with GraphQL
• Very strong within JavaScript in general
• js experience beneficial
• Java, Swift or Objective-C experience well regarded
• AWS, Python, Node experience well regarded
