Senior Java Engineer

Greythorn SA is currently working with a leading Software business at the forefront of AI technology to assist global supply chain decisions.

We are seeking a senior Java Engineer to join the Adelaide team involved in all stages of the software development process. This will include new development and enhancements to existing deployments, and go-live of new deployments. This is an exciting opportunity to develop existing and learn new skills.

Key Skills you need to be able to demonstrate to successful in the role:

• Strong background working with Java, Spring stack (spring boot, Spring JPA) and restful Web Services
• • React/Redux
  • HTML, CSS, Bootstrap
  • Unit Testing, continuous integration
  • Comfortable working on Ubuntu Linux
• Professional presentation skills
• Excellent problem solving skills and willing to learn new skills
• Ability to contribute to product management and documentation
• .
• Devops tools like docker, chef-puppet are highly regarded.
• Experience working in SaaS based applications.

The below skills while not essential, will be viewed favourably

• Algorithm design and validation skills
• Experience working and /or designing micro-service architectures
