Solution Architect

Role Summary:

Seeking an experienced Solution Architect to define and validate the solution architecture to ensure it meets business requirements and aligns with the organisation's overall IT strategy and enterprise architecture.

Key responsibilities:

• Identify, define and document the IT solution architecture.
• Assist in effective implementation of a comprehensive architecture plan addressing all elements of the architectural framework.
• Provide solution design documents defining and describing the business solutions architecture.
• Define and design service architecture to support of service strategy.
• Contribute to change across the unit to support both the vision for IT.

Skills requirements:

• Demonstrated experience in solution architecture or technical design and analysis.
• Knowledge of Solution Architecture development, information and technology architecture concepts, including experience in applications development, infrastructure architecture and IT operations.
• A working knowledge of IT service principles and frameworks including ITIL.
• Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science or Information Technology or other relevant qualification and/or relevant professional experience.
