Technical Solution Architect

Primary purpose of the role

• The role will be to lead solution architecture for clinical applications along with technical guidance to developers where required.
• The ideal candidate enjoys the hands-on side of delivery and yet is a strategist who can align business objectives with enterprise architecture.
• Minimum of five years' experience in architecture large and complex cloud-based solutions.

Key accountabilities

• Assimilate inputs from plans, business and non-functional requirements from business, information management, regulation, policy, technical, operations and other stakeholders to develop 'fit-for-purpose' cloud based solution architectures.
• Ensuring solution design provides stringent data security and governance capability with resource and effort efficiencies at the core.
• Develop long/short-term strategic goals for managing and maintaining optimal technology and software.
• Identify risks and issues associated with technology deliverables and provide technical assurance, options and recommendations to facilitate services delivered by the team including impact on resources, contracts and other aspects of service delivery.
• You will be tasked with designing complex, innovative solutions for clinical applications providing technical expertise and guidance to project teams.
• You have an obsession to push technological boundaries with innovative ideas and keep abreast of the fast-changing technology landscape
• Developing documentation for key systems and devising strategies for efficient management to ensure ease of information accessibility.

Essential Skills and Experience

• Demonstrated experience in full solution development lifecycle from initiation to operationalisation with minimum 5 years' experience in architecting multi-facet complex IT solutions.
• Demonstrated Solution Architecture experience working with large green field cloud-based solutions in Azure and/or AWS as well as migrating legacy applications to cloud.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills with demonstrated stakeholders (internal & external) management experience.
• Hands on experience with modern cloud technologies and understanding of cloud native architectures.
• In-depth working knowledge in a technology domain such as distributed internet-scale web applications, DevOps, Serverless, Analytics, enterprise workloads, high-performance databases (SQL and/or NoSQL), highly secured workloads etc.
• Working experience with Microsoft technologies a plus: C#, ASP.NET, SQL along with Angular, React JS & Single Page Applications
• Experience in leading and mentoring technical teams while delivering complex technology solutions.
